NKDSKN is instant tanning brand. Through my redesign, NKDSKN will offer an effortless and prismatic glow while achieving a precise, luminous, and irresistible appearance.
Logo
The logo is designed to portray the illusion on how our eyes can complete an unfinished form. The typeface I modified is MADE CANVAS black.
Colors
The colors are white, blue, silver, and cool gray. White makes it look clean. I wanted to give clean and effortless look for the brand. The highlight of blue reflects color of the ocean because the ocean/beach is one of most common place to use tanning products. Silver gives luminous and prismatic looks, and cool gray is used for type because black may be too harsh for this brand image.
Gradual Tan Lotion
The packaging uses pumping mechanism. You can simply just push down to get the product out. There are different ways to put on the lotion, mainly with the mitt.
Tanning Water Mist
Sprayable tanning water mist is for people who want more quick and effortless tanning look.
Instant Tanning Wipes
Instant tanning wipes are individually packaged, which makes it great to pack for travel.
Instant Tanning Wipes
It has two openings: one for tanning wipes and wipes to rinse the access. It has magnetic opening and closing, so it holds the wipes even after opening.
Sketching
I started with various form both simple and complicated. I kept in mind my key attributes throughout the process of sketching, which were magical, luminous, precise, irresistible, natural, and prismatic.
3D Work
3D work is created on SOLIDWORKS and printed in powder. The triangle patterns are inspired by the polygonal form of prism light. The triangle patterns are made to contain appearing and disappearing effect of the logo.
Stacking
The form of the packaging allows stacking which saves spaces for shipping and handling.
